What we collect
When you visit polemark.ai we may collect (1) anonymous site usage data via Vercel Analytics, only with your consent; (2) authentication state via Clerk if you sign in; (3) your audio preference stored locally in your browser.
Legal basis (GDPR Article 6)
Authentication and account management rely on contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b)). Anonymous analytics rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — collected via the cookie banner on first visit. We do not rely on legitimate interest for any non-essential processing.
Data retention
Account and session data are retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion to allow recovery. Analytics events are aggregated and rotated within 90 days. Specific retention windows for billing and support records are detailed in the formal policy (under legal review pre-launch).
Cookies
We use cookies for authentication (Clerk session) and anonymous analytics (Vercel Analytics, only after explicit consent on the cookie banner). You can withdraw consent at any time using the button below — withdrawal is as easy as giving consent (GDPR Article 7(3)).

Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. Required service providers (Clerk for auth, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Stripe for billing once enabled) act as processors under standard contractual clauses.
